Welcome to Cameron Fabrications

Cameron Fabrications was born from an interest in designing and building parts with metal and composites. The owner, Brent Cameron, started this journey in 2004 with his first welding project by building a fully adjustable air-ride suspension on his childhood go-kart. It was this project that sparked his interest in welding, fabrication, and mechanical design.

Since then, Brent has learned many welding processes and is completely self-taught. His interest in welding, composites, and fabrication techniques led to earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology at Mississippi State University in 2009. This technical degree allowed him to gain hands-on experience as a certified structural welder, polymer composites technician, Industrial Engineer, Quality Control Inspector, NDT Certified Inspector (Level II in both Ultrasonic Inspection and Visual Inspection), NDT Program Manager, Quality Engineer, Quality Assurance Manager, and a Quality Control Manager managing Quality Engineers and Quality Control Inspectors.

With over a decade of combined experience in the manufacturing and delivery of rubber, metallic and composites parts for several well-known companies such as Cooper Tire and Rubber, Lockheed Martin, Huntington Ingalls, General Dynamics Electric Boat, and the United States Department of Defense, Brent has a firm understanding of customer requirements specified in Engineering drawings, procurement specifications, material specifications, and other contractual requirements.

His knowledge and experience in manufacturing and a passion for welding led to Brent leaving the corporate world of manufacturing to start a small, family-owned business called Cameron Fabrications LLC by serving commercial and residential customers on the Mississippi Gulf Coast with their welding, fabrication, and equipment repair needs.
